Kabe-don (壁ドン)

Kabe-don is a romantic trope seen in various shoujo anime and manga. Kabe means “wall” and don is a Japanese onomatopoeia for the thud of hitting a wall. Usually, this is where a tough (sometimes tsundere) character backs another character against the wall, resulting the latter pounding the wall with their fist with one or both arms. It invokes a cool feeling, making the one being pinned against the wall go all doki-doki like this girl here-- EXTREME KABE-DON!!!

[Your guerrilla ways are too good, Vietnam. Ookurikara never noticed you were approaching until you spoke and startled him. He quickly takes his hand off the wall and turns to see who is creeping behind him.]

What? [He tries to hide his wounds and pretend he wasn't startled. This blood is all from the monsters yep.]

[She's a pro! That and he's a big sword, and she's just a small country. So it's not actually that hard (in her opinion).

Which meant that she saw right through his faking.]

You are injured. Why are you not heading towards the repair room?

[Hey he's usually not that bad at scouting! He shouldn't be so easy to sneak on... But she is a pro. And even though she saw right through him, he is stubborn.]

It's nothing worth resting over.

[Exactly, don't underestimate her! She's as small as a tantou spirit. And he can't fool her.

[And the repair room will be crowded for a while anyway. They had some trouble defeating the kbcs this time.]

[It did look full when she passed, so it's not like shoving him in there will work.]

If you wish to deal with it yourself, then I will help you bind it up until it is your turn to go into the repair room.

[She's not stepping down. Her patience is yet to be tested, though.]

[He intended to ignore Vietnam and walk off, but he had really lost a lot of blood and his knees gave in. Have an unconscious Ookurikara, Viet. Are you pissed off with him yet?]

[She was ready to yell now!! If not for the fact he fell to his knees. Now while she's really angry at him for being so stubborn, she just rushes to his side and immediately tries to catch him in order to...carry him.]

Ookurikara!

[Viet, are you carrying him bridal style?

At least she wouldn't have to carry him for too long, his room was just around the corner. He soon regained consciousness, as the swords recover fast than normal humans. ]

Ugh…

[ACTUALLY YES.....yes she is.

She does end up making quick work of getting him to his room, the only problem is that because she's about to tend to his wounds, she's practically taking his clothes off while he stirs.

This is suddenly worse than a kabe-don.]

Ookurikara, you're awake? [She says while mid-way taking his shirt off. God. Just wait till she notices what this looks like.]

[What...? This was his room, he was trying to get here, right...? And this is Vietn-]

What are you doing? [Are you trying to molest him while he is unconscious, Viet???]

[Yes, this is awkward.]

I'm going to clean your wounds.

[Unbuttoning...]

[Yeah, he's embarrassed now. Despite the movement causing him pain, he grabs Vietnam's hand to stop her from finishing undressing him.]

It's fine, it'll heal on its own.

[hoasen]

[She hasn't even taken his shirt off yet! And she looks at his hand after it grabs her own.]

You'll feel more comfortable if you were cleaned up, having to wait to be repaired.

[:| She won't leave it alone, will she? He puts on his best grumpy face, releases her hand, pushes himself up and starts taking off the torn up and bloodied shirt. It's less embarrassing if he does it himself.]

[NOPE and this way he can avoid being pushed or whatever it is she needs to force him to do until much later. She watches him take his shirt off; seeing it in action now does make her a little embarrassed.]

M-much better. I'll clean your wounds now...

[And opens up the first aid kit. It's for humans, but she's had to patch up before and she regenerates quickly, it will still help him even if he needs to be fixed up differently. So she takes out the damp clothes and wipes.]
