I, too, dream of being kabe-don'd
Kabe-don (壁ドン)

Kabe-don is a romantic trope seen in various shoujo anime and manga. Kabe means “wall” and don is a Japanese onomatopoeia for the thud of hitting a wall. Usually, this is where a tough (sometimes tsundere) character backs another character against the wall, resulting the latter pounding the wall with their fist with one or both arms. It invokes a cool feeling, making the one being pinned against the wall go all doki-doki like this girl here--
EXTREME KABE-DON!!!

R U L E S:
1. Tag your character with their name and series on the subject line.
2. Tag other people!
3. Indicate which role your character is going to play (the one being pinned against the wall or the one doing the pinning XD)
4. ???
5. PROFIT!

[Yamanbagiri has been observing the saniwa for a while. A hardworker, he watched as she all but practically run around the citadel to check on the swords, the inventory of their supplies and armoury, and the occasional glimpses he caught of her paperwork. Normally, he wouldn't pay attention, but he did see signs of fatigue showing up on her body and face.
And yet, she keeps on working.
Maybe the other swords have told her, maybe they haven't. While Yui is standing near a wall and looking at something - scrolls? Paperwork? More things she's carrying? - he quietly walked up behind her.]
... Master.

[Unlike her older brothers, Yui was the Kusanagi sibling who had to work the hardest during her training to be a potential saniwa. She wasn't as intelligent or strong like Manabu or Jun, respectively, but she was the one gifted with the most spiritual power among the three of them. To compensate for what she lacked, Yui poured herself extensively into her duties to the point where her entire well-being was just a footnote for her. She had told everyone in the citadel not to worry and she wasn't as tired as she looks
she is, but the other swords weren't convinced. When Yamanbagiri called out to her, it gave her start, making her almost drop the scrolls she was looking over (she was able to catch them in time, no worries). The sword was usually so quiet that Yui didn't detect his presence.]
Ah! Yamanbagiri-san! [She looks up to him, a sheepish chuckle escapes her. The bags under her eyes noticeable.] Hello. [She smiles, but it looks tired. Not like the bright one she usually sports.] Is something the matter?

You have been working hard. However... I believe you're pushing yourself too much.
no subject
Oh... [Another sheepish laugh, ducking her head down in embarrassment while tucking a stray lock of hair behind her ear.] I see.
[She knows she's working harder than usual but she doesn't want to be inadequate saniwa. All Yui wanted is to prove to her family, to her swords that she is the right choice, that she will be able to lead them to victory and prevent tragedies of history of happening.]
You don't have to worry about me, Yamanbagiri-san. [She looks up again, that same tired smile on her lips.] I'll be fine. I'll...[She stops, lifting hand up to cover her mouth and stifle the incoming yawn.] Sorry! Ehem, I just need to finish this [She gestures to the scrolls.], and check out how repairs are going and then I'll--

In one, swift movement, Yamanbagiri is right in front of Yui and he hit the wall behind her with his hands. With both of his arms on either side of her head, he's basically trapping her inside. Or it would feel like it. If she say the word, he would back down.
But he must say his piece.]
Master, you must take a break and rest up. You can have the secretary check on the scrolls and repairs in your stead.
/after 10 million years
They were beautiful. So beautiful in fact that whatever she needed to say was lost in her throat, too transfixed at the sight. The saniwa finally blinked, shaking her head as if she were trying to break a trance she was in.
She heaved a breath, finding her voice at last. ]
Yamanbagiri-san, you... I didn't even realize...
Re: /after 10 million years
Didn't realise what? How worried you're making us feel about you, Master?
no subject
I'm sorry, Yamanbigiri-san. The others... they must be mad at me too.
no subject
... They're more worried than mad, Master. I can't speak for them, but... [A pause, before he continues.] ... If you ever need it, you can always tell us if you need help. I'm--we're your swords. We want to help.

[ beat ]
I guess I forgot that all of you would help me when I needed it. [ yawn ] I just... didn't want to [ and her eyes start to flutter close ] burden you all... [ and oops her knees are buckling-- ]
no subject
When her knees starts to buckle, his arms drop from either side of her head... so he can hold her by her shoulders.]
Master! Do you need to lay down?
no subject
Yui takes a deep breath, nodding. ] Mm, yes. I'm really tired.
[ Absently, she reaches out, her hands holding onto the front of Yamanbagiri's clothes while she rests her head on his chest, effectively pulling him closer to her. ] So tired...
no subject
Y-yes, I can see that. Let me take you to a room first.
[How? Well, he could try carrying her there if she can't walk.]
no subject
The only thing he might be able to hear clearly is his master gently saying his name with a sigh, nuzzling his neck absently.]
